Bakelite Rust-Colored Horse Head Pin

One of my favorite Bakelite pieces. This is a rust-colored Bakelite horse head with wonderful detailing. The bridle and reins are goldtone, probably brass, that bend through and around the horse to the back. There is a tiny glass eye in the horse. The closure is in good working condition and is imbedded in the Bakelite. Horse head measures 3″ wide by 2 1/4″ tall.
