This is a large ring made up of 2 bright blue turquoise stones encircled by a snake that also has turquoise eyes. The artist is Southwest Native American, Effie Calavaza, of the Zuni tribe. The back is marked “EFFIE C. ZUNI”. It is not marked sterling, however, handmade pieces of this nature often times were not. Ring measures 1 3/8″. Ring is size 9. In great condition. A wonderful piece of American history.
