Wonderful old antique goldtone pin. Large round focal piece with a cascade of goldtone metal bead chains hanging from it. The chain is a brass color, as it has lost it’s goldtone finish. The central piece has a giant purple rhinestone (open-backed) in the center surrounded by 12 large purple oval rhinestones (foil-backed) and 12 round purple rhinestones. The round rhinestones almost all have a different hue of purple, which the age could account for, but I wanted to point it out. And the bottom round rhinestone looks like it has glue or something on it. The back of the pin is signed “DOCTOR DRESS” on a rectangle nameplate. Safety clasp is in good working condition. Pin measures 4 1/8″ x 2″. This brooch is from the 1930s, and is good vintage condition.
