1940 Golden Gate International Exposition Wide Buckle Bracelet

Goldtone over brass wide hinged bracelet with a detailed leafy pattern. The front closes with a belt-like closure. On the front is a brass and black enamel medallion that says “Golden Gate International Exposition 1940 San Francisco Bay”. Some of the goldtone finish has rubbed off and the brass is showing through underneath. There are a few dark spots as well. The inside of the bracelet is speckled and scratched and there is a dot of something that looks like red paint on the inside as well. The bracelet is 1″ wide and has an opening diameter of 2-1/2″. Overall, this bracelet is in good condition for its age…almost 80 years! A wonderful souvenir and a piece of history.
