Art of Chokin Musical Duck Keychain in the Original Box
This is a wonderful goldtone keychain with 2 wood ducks swimming under a branch of dogwoods. The keychain is musical and plays “Edel Weiss”. This keychain is done in various colors of metal. It comes in the original box, with the original paperwork, which says “ART OF CHOKIN” and goes on to explain as follows: “The art of Chokin was introduced in the 6th Century to decorate Shrines & Temples and was used to decorate Samurai Amors. Swords, Helmets, etc. in the later years. This elegant Art of Chokin is created by using ancient technique of etching copper plate and gilding gold and silver.” Then it goes on to give the address info: “Made in Japan exclusively for Westland Co., P.O. Box 3194, San Leandro, CA 94578.” The keychain measures 4″ long. The pendant part measures 1-1/2″ x 1-1/4″. Clasp is in good working condition.
