Beautiful Purple Flower Pin with Original Tag from Ziesel’s Department Store

This is a really neat piece of history. This pin has the original tag on it from Ziesel’s Department Store that was a locally owned store in Elkhart, Indiana. From what I found on the Internet, it was open from 1904 to 1986. The tag indicates the original price was $2.00 and was marked down to 50c. The pin is a large flower shape of large purple rhinestones around a central aurora borealis rhinestone and around the mottled olive pear-shaped cabochon “petal” rhinestones. There are also aurora borealis rhinestones at the tip of each petal. All the stones are prong set. The pin was attached to a card and still had the hang tag on it when I purchased it. I did not picture the card, as it is plain white and has no writing on it, but will be kept with the pin. The pin measures 2 1/4″ across. The safety catch is in good working condition. A beautiful piece from a bygone era, perfect for collectors of vintage jewelry or old department store memorabilia.
