This set is composed of some amazing rhinestones.  These look like real amethysts.  They are definitely a high quality of crystal rhinestones.  The color is amazing.  The purple oval rhinestones are all prong set into a shiny goldtone setting.  The earrings are a round open wreath of ivy leaves.  The necklace is the same ivy wreath that is inside of another circle.  The neck chain is a snake chain which measures 24” long.  The pendant measures 1 3/8” across.  The earrings measure 1 1/8” across.  The clasps and clips are in good working condition.  Royal brilliance!
