Christmas Floral Vendome Pin and Earrings Set with Original Tag

Absolutely gorgeous Christmas floral pin and earrings set in a goldtone setting. Large pin with 3 goldtone flowers composed of goldtone metal leaves and magenta rhinestones centered on a bed of green enameled leaves. There are sprigs of prong set red marquis rhinestones sticking out from behind the leaves. Just to note, there is one sprig that only contains 1 red marquis rhinestone, while the other 2 contain 3 red marquis rhinestones. It was made this way. There is no indication of 2 marquis rhinestones ever being attached to the sprig and no sign of damage whatsoever. Just appears that someone at the factory forgot to solder them onto the sprig. The pin measures 2-1/2" across. The safety clasp is in good working condition. The back is marked "Vendome" on an oval placard. There is also an original hang tag that has a fleur-de-lis on one side with "Venodme" written down the center of it. The other side has a "V" with a tiny fleur-de-lis in the center of it and then it says "Vendome Couturier Jewelry". The earrings have 1 goldtone flower composed of goldtone metal leaves and magenta rhinestones. There are 2 green enameled leaves and 1 sprig of 3 prong set red marquis rhinestones next to the flower. The earrings are clips with a screw tightener. They are in good working condition. The clips are each marked "Vendome". Both pieces have their original price tags on them and there is an original receipt as well. The pin was originally $6.00 and the earrings were originally $3.00. Both were purchased at Madigans in Chicago on October 8, 1963. This set is in great condition and it looks like it never was worn. A great piece of history of the Vendome jewelry company.
