Unusual goldtone tube with swirl design that looks like a lipstick tube but in actuality is a perfume atomizer made to carry in your purse. The top slides off and a sprayer is inside with perfume inside. The bottom of the tube is marked “U.S.A. Patent 2,162,756″ “2,189,229″ “DeVilbiss”. According to the U.S. Patents and Trademarks website, the pocket atomizer patent was applied for by Rome C. Seyforth on November 29, 1935 and approved June 20, 1939. The second patent number is a continuation of Seyforth’s original patent and was applied for by Rome C. Seyforth on June 20, 1939 and approved on February 6, 1940. the atomizer measures 2 1/4″ tall. Sprayer is in good working condition. A simple design, yet very functional.
