This is a cute little compact which once served as a perfume holder. The inside of the lid is marked “ESTEE LAUDER”. The goldtone metal is textured and the lid is covered with metallic blue and baby blue enamel. The center is a small plastic oval imitation turquoise cabochon. In very good condition. Measures 1 5/8″ by 1 1/8″ wide and 1/2″ tall. According to my research, this is from 1967, was entitled Boutique Oval, and was Estee Lauder’s first solid perfume compact.
