This is a fantastic piece of jewelry! This is a huge gold plated sterling pin of a three dimensional horse head inside a horseshoe that reminds me of the Kentucky Derby. The bridle is made of red enamel and clear rhinestones. The horse’s ears and mouth are red enameled and the mane and nostrils are black enameled. The horseshoe has a silver edge and is composed of a row of white plastic moonglow cabachons, that have a slight blue cast, and 2 rows of tiny clear rhinestones. There are 2 red rhinestones for eyes. The back is signed “KRAMER STERLING” on an oval disk. The safety clasp is in good working condition. Measures 2″ x 2 1/4″ and is 1″ deep. There are some places on the neck where the silver is showing through the gold, but it doesn’t look like flaking, it just looks like the gold plate wasn’t put on thick enough on the neck. Otherwise, this piece is in wonderful condition. This is an absolutely stunning piece of jewelry and is the first sterling piece of Kramer I have ever seen.
