Huge Mattia Carved Real Shell Cameo Pin

This is absolutely gorgeous! Huge carved real shell cameo of a woman’s face with flowers in her hair and on her shoulder. The frame she is in is a bright silvertone color with yellow goldtone accents around the edge. The top of the pin has a heart with 3 prong-set garnets in it. The back of the pin is thin openwork. There is a bale that can be opened and clipped onto a pearl necklace as an enhancer, or it can be worn as a pin. The back of the shell cameo is signed “Mattia” in cursive. The safety clasp is in good working condition, and the bale snaps closed tightly. The pin measures 2 3/4″ x 1 3/4″.
