Large brushed goldtone frame of long leaves surrounds this large oval real shell cameo that depicts 2 women on a bridge by a house and tree. There is a bridge and city in the background. The mounting is very unusual. It is a frame around a frame that is attached by 2 pins. It is possibly a reworked cameo where the frame may have been added; I’m not sure. The closure has a C-clasp that is in good working condition. Pin measures 2” x 2”. There is a line or crack that is visible when I hold the cameo up to the light; however, I cannot see it or feel it on either side.
