Mayan Temple Sterling Earrings

Probably a bit of a stretch, but these earrings remind me of a stylized Mayan temple. The earrings are some sort of compressed turquoise stone set in a round sterling setting. Back is marked “JBR” with “Hencho en Mexico 925” around it in a circle and, I think, “RE”. The circle measures 1-3/8″ across. The earrings dangle 1-13/16″. Screwbacks are in good working condition.
