Occupied Japan Coro Red Hand-Carved Bone Necklace

This is a really unusual necklace. It is a necklace composed of hand-carved bone beads that have been dyed red. The closure is a screw type that is also made of all bone and is in good working condition. There are 2 original tags. One tag says “Made In Occupied Japan”. The other tag is dark green and gold and has a picture of a pagoda and says “HAND CARVED BONE” on one side, and the other side has a Pegasus with “Coro” written in cursive next to it. The necklace measures 16 1/2″ long. There is a lot of history involved with this piece.
