OLD Egyptian Sword, King Tut, Camel and Mother of Pearl Crescent Pin
$55.00
Old goldtone metal scimitar (sword) with a large mother of pearl crescent wrapped in a goldtone King Tut head hanging from it. Hanging from the King Tut is a goldtone camel. This is an old pin and possibly was a souvenir for a King Tut or Egyptian exhibit at a museum. Not sure though. The goldtone has some discoloration to it, and the sword is a little wavy, but not bad. The closure is a C-clasp and is in good working condition. The pin measures 2 1/4″ tall and 3″ wide. There is a little nick in the mother of pearl right in front of the camel’s face, but it may have been made when carving the crescent. Also, there is a layer of the mother of pearl chipped off on that same point on the back. Both really aren’t noticeable unless you are looking for them. I love anything Egyptian. And this one is definitely vintage. Love it!
