Beautiful necklace with a tribal face pendant. The high-relief, carved face is of an unusual stone that I thought was onyx but has an unusual brownish-green cast when moved under certain light. The headress, collar, and dangles are black and inlayed with pieces of goldstone, tiger’s eye, turquoise, and malachite. The back of the pendant is marked “MEXICO” and dangles from a 24″ twisted silvertone chain. However, I did not see any mark to indicate this is sterling. Measures 2 1/2″ x 1 1/2″. The clasp is in good working condition.
