This is one of the cutest pieces I have seen. This dress clip is done in a silvertone metal that is very heavy. The top of the dress clip is a open diamond-shape with a policeman blowing a whistle on it. Hanging from the diamond-shaped clip are 5 people dangling from chains. They are a mail carrier, shoe shine boy, girl on roller skates (maybe from the drive-in diners), a paperboy, and an organ grinder. These little figures are all 3 dimensional and nicely detailed. Based on the professions of each and thier outfits, I believe this fur clip is 1950c. I tried to take pictures to show the dimensions of these little figures because they really are amazing. The top part of the clip measures 1 3/8″. Each person measures approximately 1″. Overall, pin hangs 3 1/8″. The fur clip is in good working condition and is still tight. I find nothing wrong with this fur clip other than the fact that the designer never put his labdl on this piece. An absolutely wonderful work of art.
