Sapphire Bogoff Earrings and Necklace Set in Original Box

Gorgeous silvertone Bogoff set, comes in the original box. The set consists of sapphire-colored marquis shaped rhinestones with ice blue round rhinestone accents. The necklace is 17-1/2" long and has a hook clasp that is marked "BOGOFF". The silvertone earrings are 1-1/4 inches long and are also composed of sapphire-colored marquis shaped rhinestones with ice blue round rhinestone accents. The screwbacks are marked "BOGOFF" as well. This set comes in the original box that is silver and black cardboard with a wood grain look. It comes with the original silk insert that is marked "jewels by BOGOFF". After I purchased this I discovered a small envelope from the jewelry store that this was originally purchased at. It came from Busch Jewelers in Gary, Indiana. The envelope says "BUSCH JEWELERS, 552 Broadway, Gary, Indiana". The name "L. Button" is written in the "name" portion, and the date is "12-25-54", which is Christmas over 55 years ago!!! Under remarks it was written "If any thing brakes on the set, Busch well repair it free." This jewelry store has been closed for decades. I found a picture of it on line where it is boarded up, but the original sign still exists. Not only is this a wonderful piece of jewelry, the card insert adds a touch of history.
