SE 925S Sterling Norway Solje Pin

Round bright silver pin with 6 filigree hearts dangling from it. Each heart has a goldtone “spoon” or teardrop dangling from it. The pin is marked “SE 925S STERLING NORWAY” on the back. A little research shows this is known as a solje brooch, which is a traditional style of Norwegian jewelry that many times were given as celebratory gifts for weddings, birthdays, christenings, etc. It has a very delicate feel to it. The circle part of the pin measures 1″ across. With the dangles, it measures almost 1 3/4″ tall. The pin is a C-clasp style and is in good working condition.
