These are really unusual and the only ones I have ever seen like this.  These are bib clips that are supposed to be put on a baby’s bib to keep it on.  The clips are sterling silver turtles with clips similar to sweater clips on the back.  Each turtle is marked “STERLIING” under the clip.  The clips come in the original box that is covered in babies and baby toys.  The turtles are in the original box and cellophane.  The original tag is still on the box that reads “STERLING SILVER BY PAT JANE”.  The only flaw I see is that over time the cardboard in the box that the clips attach to have torn off.  The turtles and their clips are in great condition for their age, which I would guess is from c.1945.  Turtles each measure 1 1/2″ x 1 1/8″.  Very unusual and old.
