West German Purple Rhinestones and Flowers Necklace and Earrings Set

This is a wonderful filigree silvertone set decorated with purple enamel flowers with a large center purple rhinestone, surrounded by 2 medium purple rhinestones and 4 aurora borealis rhinestones. The necklace also has filigree triangles on each side with 1 purple rhinestone and 2 aurora borealis rhinestones, and 4 filigree oval “beads”. All of the rhinestones are prong set. The earring clip backs and the hook on the necklace have some wear to the metal. The earrings have a little metal wear along the edges, and the necklace beads and chain have some brass(?) showing through; but otherwise is in good vintage condition. You can see from the pictures that it does not detract from the look of this set. The hook and the clips are all marked “WESTERN GERMANY” and are in good working condition. Necklace measures 17 3/4″ x 5/8″. Earrings measure 1″. This is unusual for a West Germany set; I have never seen one with enameled flowers!
