Sterling Fall Harvest Square Pin by Binder Brothers

Beautiful old fall harvest framed sterling pin features a pumpkin and vine, pineapple, a squash and vine, and a bunch of grapes with a leaf. The pin is very well made. It measures 1 3/4″ x 2″. The safety clasp is unusual and has a little mechanism on the back that moves forward to lock the pin in place; it does not spin like most brooches. The back is marked “STERLING” along the bottom of the back AND on the clasp, which I tried to take a picture of through my jeweler’s loupe. The back is also marked “BB” with 2 overlapping circles with the letter B in each one which, from research, indicates it is by Binder Brothers. Natural patina is left on, as I leave it up to the buyer to determine if they want to remove it.
