Beautiful Carved Dark Blue Bakelite Flower Pin

This is a really unusual piece of bakelite. It looks black, but is actually dark blue when held up to the light. It is shiny and polished, however, it has carved flowers on the front which have not been polished which gives it a really unusual look.  The safety clasp is embedded in the back of the pin and is in good working condition. Pin measures 3″ x 1 ½”.  A really wonderful piece of jewelry.
