Coro Duette Art Deco Ribbon Pin/Dress Clips

This is a bright goldtone piece with an art deco ribbon design covered in clear rhinestones.  The pin is actually composed of 2 dress clips that are clipped to a special frame so they can be worn together as a pin or separately as dress clips.  The frame is marked “Coro Duette” in cursive writing, and also “PAT. No. 1798867”.  This patent was applied for by Gaston Candas on May 31, 1930, and was approved on March 31, 1931.  You can see the patent by clicking HERE.  This pin measures 3 1/4″ x 1 1/4″ overall.  Each clip measures 1 5/8″ x 1 1/4″.  The safety clasp is in good working condition and the dress clips are tight.  There is one stone right in the center area that looks a bit yellowed; otherwise, this piece is in fantastic condition and looks like it was never worn.
