Large Sterling and Abalone Inlay Butterfly Pin

Very large sterling butterfly pin set with pieces of abalone. Unfortunately, there are cracks through almost every piece of the abalone (as shown), but still a pretty piece. Butterfly has 2 antenna sticking up. The back is marked something unreadable (probably 925) and “HECHO EN MEXICO” in a circle with “13” in the middle. The pin is not marked sterling, but definitely has the appearance of sterling. Safety clasp is in good working condition. Pin measures 2-1/4″ x 2-5/8″.
