Matson Bird and Dogwood Lipstick Holder

This is a wonderful little textured goldtone lipstick holder.  It has a bird on a floral branch on top of it.  The holder can hold 6 tubes of lipstick in 2 different sizes.  The base of the lipstick holder has dogwoods on it.  The bottom of the lipstick holder AND the underside of the bird’s wing is marked “Matson” in cursive writing on an oval cartouche.  There is also a rectangle on the bottom that is marked “K674”.  And stamped in the metal is “783” on the bottom.  The bird and dogwoods are nicely detailed.  The lipstick holder measures 4 1/4″ wide by 2 1/4″ deep by 3 1/4″ tall.  The lipstick holder is in great condition and looks like it was never used.  Circa 1960.
