Goldtone wingback earrings with 2 elongated black glass beads and 2 elongated topaz-colored glass beads on it. 1 back is marked "R" and 1 is marked "L" to designate left and right. On the post part is written "WINGBACK" and"PAT 2414382", but it is so tiny, I couldn’t take a picture of it. The patent was filed for on October 4, 1944 and was patented on January 14, 1947. If you check out the United States Patents and Trademarks website, you will see an illustration and description of how these earrings were supposed to have been worn in the ear and wrapped around the earlobe. Backs are in good working condition. Measure 3/4" x 7/8".
